Ms. asks: Women’s Studies degrees and what YOU are doing/planning on doing?

New issue of Ms. (Spring 2007), great read as always, has an article by Nikki Ayanna Stewart, titled “Transform the world: What you can do with a degree in Women’s Studies.” NWSA as well as the Ms. Foundation are gathering information. In Women’s Studies, the 2003 – 2004 National Center for Educational Statistics reported 1,024 bachelor’s degrees, 135 master’s, and 5 doctoral degrees nationwide. She goes on to say:

These statistics, however, are suspect, given that the National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA) has documented 750 active undergraduate and graduate programs in U.S. colleges and universities.
